Texans Fall in Wild-Card Opener to Browns

Houston's Season Ends with 36-22 Loss in Cleveland

Cooper's Record-Breaking Day Leads Browns to Victory

In the blink of an eye, the Houston Texans' season came to an end on Saturday night. The Browns defeated the Texans 36-22 in the Super Wild Card Weekend Showdown, ending Houston's playoff hopes and sending Cleveland to the Divisional Round.

The Browns were led by Cooper, who set a franchise record with 265 receiving yards. He also scored two touchdowns and a 2-point conversion.

Flacco was efficient in his first playoff start for the Browns, completing 22 of 25 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns.

The Texans were unable to keep pace with the Browns' high-powered offense. Davis Mills threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw two interceptions.

The Texans' defense was unable to contain Cooper, who repeatedly found open space in the Browns' passing attack. The Browns also dominated the time of possession, holding the ball for over 35 minutes.

The loss marks the end of a disappointing season for the Texans, who finished with a 7-10 record. The Browns, on the other hand, will advance to the Divisional Round, where they will face the Jacksonville Jaguars.
